Looking for a deal on an iPad, a Rolex watch, a 1980 bottle of Dom Perignon or a diamond bracelet? The Treasury Department has an online auction for you.
Since you're in South Florida, check out the goods in person, at a warehouse in Pompano Beach on Thursday, before bidding begins Friday.
The online auction runs through Tuesday.
Hundreds of items seized by or forfeited to U.S. Customs & Border Protection, Immigration and Customs Enforcement, the IRS and Secret Service will be sold. If you're looking for a boat, there's a 1996 Cabo 35 Express and a 1976 Kraken Hatteras.
If you'd rather drink in luxury, check out the aged wines and champagnes. Collectors and jewelry seekers will find Rolex watches, gold and silver jewelry and gold coins. There are iPads, laptop computers, digital single-lens reflex cameras and other electronics as well.
The preview begins at 9 a.m. Thursday at the VSE Corp. warehouse, 2951 NW 27th Ave., Pompano Beach. It runs until 4 p.m.
Proceeds from the auction go to the U.S. Treasury's Asset Forfeiture Fund to support the involved agencies.
